Abraham Mathew

Abraham Mathew is the founder and managing
partner of Mathew & George, a Plaintiff’s law
firm located in Los Angeles, California. Abraham represents
individuals in a wide range of matters from catastrophic
injuries, wrongful death, employment discrimination to wrongful
termination. Abraham also represents small companies and
investors that have been cheated or defrauded by much larger
corporations.
Abraham was born in Mysore, India. He is
a graduate of the University of Southern California with
a degree in Finance and Business Economics. In 1995, he
graduated from the Pepperdine University School of Law.
Prior to law school, Abraham worked for a large international
bank within their commercial lending division. After law
school, he worked as a Financial Analyst with the Federal
Reserve Bank.
In 1996, Abraham “hung out his shingle”
and started his legal practice. Within two years, the practice
was firmly established and flourished. In 2003, Abraham
and his long time friend and fellow attorney, Jacob George,
decided to merge their practices and the firm of Mathew
& George was formed. Today the firm handles matters
throughout California and a select few cases in states ranging
from Hawaii to New York.
Abraham is a member of the Consumer Attorneys Association
of Los Angeles as well as many other local, regional and
national bar associations. He is actively involved in several
community organizations advancing charitable and social
causes. He is also the Treasurer and Board Member of the
SDM Cancer Relief Fund – a charitable organization
devoted to helping destitute cancer patients in India.
Abraham is an avid basketball and Lakers fan. He lives with
his wife, daughter and newly arrived son in Los Angeles.
