Jason Buratti

Mr. Buratti is an Intellectual Property Litigator who has represented Fortune 500 and small cap or even individual clients alike. Mr. Buratti has first chair trial experience and has appeared as lead counsel before Federal District Courts, the International Trade Commission and the Board of Patent Appeals and Interferences in patent interferences. He has litigated cases arising under the Hatch-Waxman Act, the Telephone Consumer Protection Act and the Declaratory Judgment Act. Mr. Buratti also has alternative dispute resolution experience, including in domestic and international arbitrations such as those before the International Chamber of Commerce, since judicial and
non-judicial mediation alike constitute a regular part of his practice. Mr. Buratti has worked with clients and trade organizations to protect intellectual property interests affected by international treaties, including Caribbean free trade agreements. He has worked on licensing and due diligence matters for all forms of intellectual property as part of his client counseling practice.

Publications and Presentations
Mr. Buratti speaks regularly on a national level, including giving telephonic lectures. Topics include all aspects of intellectual property litigation and dispute resolution, electronic discovery, and document retention policies. He has taught short-courses in writing and advocacy. He has mentored students and young lawyers in both educational and professional venues.
