Shree Sinha is International Legal Counsel at Ropes & Gray LLP and is currently based in Boston. His practice areas include general corporate matters with a focus on mergers and acquisitions, private equity and joint ventures. Shree is also a member of the International Practice Group at Ropes & Gray. Prior to joining Ropes & Gray, Shree has had 11 years of experience (3 as a partner) at the Mumbai offices of Desai & Diwanji, one of India's leading law firms.

Shree has developed effective legal and business strategies in the context of mergers and acquisitions in India, and has also advised on risk management, litigation avoidance and corporate governance. His clients have included private equity funds, multilateral organizations, state governments, multinational corporations, and Indian companies.

Shree received his Bachelor of Laws & Bachelor of Arts from the National Law School of India, where he graduated with honors, and his Master of Laws from Boston University. He is admitted to practice in India and is a member of the Bar Council of India, the Bar Council of Maharashtra and Goa, and the Bombay Bar Association.
